The idea of good enough is why I started the Mother Good Enough blog. Instead of never trying for fear of the blog being perfect or feeling ready, I am striving for good enough. So here goes nothing!
To start, I want to share the things I have learned (am still learning too) as a parent, tips from parent-friends, grandparents and non-parents that can help other parents feel good enough. Including tips for staying organized (control in the chaos), easy meals (actually easy) , kiddo activities (for snow days, holidays and when you just need. a. minute) and other things that make me feel good (books, wellness and hobbies).
Ultimately, my hope is that the idea of good enough can resonate with others. Admittedly, I have to remind myself daily to reset my perspective to strive for “good enough”. Also, I thought I can’t be the only one who would like some guidance when life feels particularly chaotic. So, let us embrace imperfection together and share the ways we thrive.
